The Death of iTunes? Apple TV & Apple Music Apps Are Coming to Windows 11

Do you hate having to watch your Apple TV show in your browser? Don’t want to listen to Apple Music through a website? Don’t like iTunes? Good news if you own a Windows 11 PC, soon you will be able to install the Apple TV app and Apple Music App.

This really is not a surprise, as Apple has slowly been opening up its service to other platforms. A few years ago, many were shocked to see Apple bring Apple TV to Roku players and Amazon’s Fire TV streaming player. There is one catch, though, according to 9to5Mac, that if you install these apps, iTunes for Windows stops working. This may be Apple moving one step closer to ending iTunes, one of the most well-known apps on any platform. A few years ago, Apple ended iTunes on Macs but kept it for Windows PCs. Now iTunes support continues but for how long seems to be the question as its features are slowly being moved into other apps.

What do you think about the possible end of iTunes?
