The Cord Cutting Live TV Streaming Service Philo Launches New TV Ads

philo tv logoThis week the live cord cutting TV streaming service Philo launched a new TV campaign in an attempt to draw new subscribers. With this campaign, Philo is promoting its service as a great option for cord cutters who also want a cheaper option than YouTube TV, Hulu, and other live TV streaming services.

Here is the ad Philo is now airing:

Back at CES, Cord Cutters News met with Philo to go over their plans for 2020.

Philo is working on adding Chromecast support, which would allow more users to watch the app’s 59 channels. This will be the eighth device supported by Philo. Chromecast support will be added in the first half of 2020.

One area that Philo will be focusing on in 2020 is developing social features that will allow users to watch content together, wherever they’re at, and interact in real time. The company has been working on developing the infrastructure that will allow users to seamlessly pair a smartphone and the Philo app on their TV, making it possible to add contacts, control the TV experience with their phone, and enjoy an experience across multiple devices.

Philo’s leadership knows that customer support is a strength that makes them stand out from the competition. With all of the new changes coming to the streaming service this year, they made it clear that the focus on listening to subscribers and evolving based on feedback will continue to be at the center of what they do.
