The Best 3 Android TV Streaming Players of 2020

Android TV is an important streaming player owned by Google. With the recent addition of Amazon Prime Video and other popular streaming services, Android TV is a great option for cord cutters.

With so many different Android TV models on the market, we picked our three favorites based on our personal testing.

#1 Nvidia Shield

The Nvidia Shield has become the flagship of Android TV streaming players. With the new 2019 models recently released, these updated players offer a ton of power, 4K upscaling, and more.

The Nvidia Shield starts at $149.99 on Amazon.

#2 AirTV Mini

The AirTV Mini comes from Sling TV and is meant to be used with Sling TV, but you don’t need a subscription for this streaming player. The best part is the AirTV Mini is extremely powerful and comes with 4K at just $79.99.

You can find the AirTV Mini on Amazon HERE.

#3 TiVo Stream 4K

At CES this year TiVo announced a new streaming player to compete with Roku, Fire TV, and the Apple TV. This new streaming player runs Android TV, comes with a standard TiVo remote, and costs $49.99. The TiVo Stream 4K also comes with TiVo’s own recommendation system and unified guide to help you find all the shows and movies you want. No release date has been set but if you can wait, this may be the best budget Android TV streaming player on the market.
