The Average American Spends Over $2,600 a Year on Cable TV & Internet

You are not alone since according to a report from DecisionData.org, the average cable bill from companies like Spectrum, Comcast, and more Is now over $200 a month.

According to the report, the average cable bill is now $217.42. This means over the course of a year, you will pay $2,609.04 just for things like internet and TV from a major cable TV company. Over 10, years that ads up to $26,090.40 – enough to buy a car with cash.

With numbers like this, you can see why millions of Americans are trying to ditch cable TV for cheaper options. Americans still enjoy watching TV but it seems that they don’t enjoy it enough to justify paying $26,090.40 over 10 years so they can watch mostly reruns.
