Apple TV+ is Finally Available on the Google Chromecast

Apple TV is now available to those using Chromecast with Google TV. With the app, you can watch Apple TV+ content along with any content you’ve purchased through iTunes. Google first announced that Apple TV would launch on Chromecast with Google TV in December.

On Apple TV+, subscribers will find original content including TV shows, movies, and documentaries. Some popular titles include “Ted Lasso,” “The Morning Show,” “Defending Jacob,” “Greyhound” and “Mariah Carey’s Magical Christmas Special.” Through the app, subscribers can also access their digital movie collection from Apple and subscribe to premium channels. With Family Sharing, up to six family members can share an account.

Apple TV will also have Google Assistant integration so you can use the Apple TV app with voice commands. “…with Google Assistant, you can also use your voice to ask Google to open the Apple TV app or play an Apple Original title. If you aren’t ready to watch right away, you can add Apple Originals to your Watchlist for later. These features will roll out globally in the coming months.”

Along with Chromecast with Google TV, the Apple TV app will also be available on Google TVs from Sony and TCL. More Android powered devices will be added in the coming months.
