That is not where the good news stops for VRV because this week they also announced a deal with MGM to bring the full catalog of Stargate content to VRV. This includes Stargate SG1, Stargate Atlantis, Stargate Universe, and access to Stargate movies.
“We are honored to partner with MGM to bring Stargate, one the most beloved sci-fi franchises of all-time, to VRV,” said Eric Berman, head of business development and partnerships. “Together, we can now offer the fandom access to their favorite content across mobile and living room devices through the VRV app, which as of today, is now available on Apple TV.”
Stargate Command All-Access will continue to provide members a window of exclusivity for newly released content. VRV will air episodes of Stargate Origins no earlier than 30 days after each episode appears on Stargate Command.
VRV is available on the web, iOS, Android devices, Apple TV, Android TV, Fire TV, Xbox One, PS4, Chromecast, and newer Roku devices. VRV is available for a $9.99 a month after a free 30-day trial.
