The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ latest adventure, the film Mutant Mayhem, arrives on Paramount+ on Tuesday.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem marks a new interpretation of the Heroes in a Half Shell, and utilizes a distinct art style which has drawn comparisons to Spider-Man’s Spider-Verse films. The film centers on the quartet as they seek acceptance from the public despite the fierce warnings from their overprotective master and father figure, Splinter.

The film, produced by Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg, was a critical and commercial success and continues the solid run for the franchise, which is nearly four decades old, dating back to the original 1985 comic book.

Paramount+ will continue to play in this version of the TMNT universe with a spinoff series, Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, to air on Paramount+. The service is also a repository of all of the old TMNT shows, including the classic ’90s series with its enduring opening song (Turtle Power!).
