Tablo Updates iOS App & Has a Limited Time Deal on OTA DVRs

Tablo has introduced an update to its app for iOS devices. Those running version 1.9.2 of the Tablo app should see an update notification in the App Store or on their device.

The update brings a new look to the app layout, with a new bottom menu to easily navigate to your recordings, the guide, and scheduled recordings. You can also now swipe on some screens. For example, you can now swipe to the left on recorded episodes to delete them when you’re done watching.

The iOS app will still let you watch live TV and recordings from your Tablo OTA DVR and you can still manage your recordings and schedule from your iPhone or iPad.

The update has started rolling out and should be available for all devices within the next few days. You can also update your app manually by going to the App Store.

If you aren’t already a Tablo user, this is a good time to check out their OTA DVRs. For a limited time, four tuner Tablo OTA DVRs are on sale, just in time for fall TV premieres.

To get the deal:

The Tablo QUAD DVR is designed for cord cutters with larger households or channel lineups, who wish to record and stream up to four free broadcast channels from their over-the-air HDTV antenna simultaneously. Tablo QUAD OTA DVR also provides the flexibility to choose the recording storage option (SATA or USB drive) that works best for you.

The QUAD OTA DVR has 4 OTA tuners, works with an ethernet or WiFi connection, allows for whole home and out of home streaming, includes virtually unlimited storage, has 5.1 surround sound support, and features automatic commercial skip.
