This week Tablo DVRs launched a new preview app for Fire TV and Android TV. This app allows Tablo DVR owners to test out new features before it goes live to everyone.
So whats new in the preview app?
New Look
The new Preview App has a newly updated look to make it easier to read the Tablo DVR guide. Here is what the new app looks like:
Tablo also added a new gride screen that will promote new shows that are available with your antenna. This screen is designed to Tablo DVR owners discover new shows that they may not know about.
New Settings
Now with the new preview app, you will find a refreshed settings screen. With new options to manage scheduled recordings and access to most Tablo OTA DVR settings.
Whats Not in The New Preview App
Tablo says a few features are still in the works for the featured app. Some filters like ‘most recent’ and ‘genre’ are not currently available. Also, the ability to resolve recording conflicts are currently unavailable in the Preview app.
“That being said, the team is already working hard on bringing these screens and features to the Tablo Preview app. Once those features are finished, the Tablo Preview app will replace the current Tablo app for Amazon Fire TV and Android TV.” Tablo said in a blog post on their site.
