Tablo DVR is Ending Updates for Older Roku Players

This week Tablo DVRs announced that new app updates will soon come to an end for 14 older Roku Players. The good news is if you bought a Roku Player in 2013 or later you have nothing to worry about. If you do own one of the older Roku players your Tablo Roku Channel will still work you just won’t get any updates to access new features.

Here are the models that will no longer be receiving updated features form Tablo:

Most of these Roku players are over 8 years old. Back in 2013 the most current iPhone on the market was the iPhone 3G S. Since 2012 15 iPhone models have come out and Apple long ago ended support for the iPhone 3G S.

So if you have a newer roku like the Roku Express and Roku Ultra you will continue to recive updates from Tablo.
