T-Mobile’s 5G Internet Service Is Reportedly Averaging 350–490 Mbps Down

T-Mobile is still testing its 5G network. Now, according to reports from PCmag.com, T-Mobile’s 5G network is averaging 350–490 Mbps down. This is the network T-Mobile hopes will not only offer high-speed Internet to phone users but also to home customers.

T-Mobile is already testing a 4G home Internet service that runs at 50 Mbps down. T-Mobile is hoping this 4G test will test the hardware and customer experience. T-Mobile is also hoping that their 5G network will help them expand from primarily phone service to home Internet, TV, and more.

From the looks of it, a network testing on average between 350 and 490 Mbps will be more than enough for T-Mobile to compete with Comcast and Spectrum.

Verizon already has a 5G home Internet service available in several markets starting at $50 a month. T-Mobile reportedly wants to be competitive in price to services like Verizon’s 5G service and cable providers like Comcast and Spectrum.
