T-Mobile Plans to “Retire” Something Next Week

For over a week now T-Mobile has said they plan to make a big announcement on August 15th, 2018. Today their CEO John Legere posted this announcement about some kind of “retire” something next week:

What exactly they plan to announce is still unknown, but rumors are starting to fly that we may get an update on their new TV service. Well, that is possible, but we just don’t know right now. What we do know is they plan to make some kind of announcement on August 15th, 2018.

Back in December 2018, T-Mobile announced plans to launch a “disruptive” TV service. Since then there have been hints that T-Mobile was struggling to get deals something that has reportedly still been an issue. So it is also just as possible that this has to do with their 5G plans or some other product.

For now, we will have to wait and see what T-Mobile announces next week.
