T-Mobile Offers a Free Year of Cellular Starlink to Customers Who Switch Carriers

T-Mobile is encouraging cell phone users to switch to their service with a new offer. New T-Mobile customers can get a year of free Cellular Starlink service after the beta program ends this summer.

PC Mag shared the offer, which was emailed to customers who have signed up for the free beta test of Cellular Starlink. In an email with “an exclusive offer for beta registrants,” T-Mobile says that customers can “switch to T‑Mobile today and you’ll receive a free year of satellite coverage for every line you register in the beta. Up to 12 lines.”

The beta program is happening now and is free to customers with any carrier until July. For existing customers, when the beta program ends, the service will be included in T-Mobile’s Go5G Next plan at no additional cost. Customers with other T-Mobile plans can add T-Mobile Starlink for $15 per month. AT&T and Verizon customers will have to pay $20 per month to add Starlink service.

The free Cellular Starlink offer will only be for new customers switching over to T-Mobile. If you’re interested, sign up for the beta program and look out for an email.

What do you get with Cellular Starlink? When you’re out of range for your cell service, your phone will automatically connect to the T-Mobile Starlink network. You’ll be able to make calls, send and receive texts, use data, and share photos, basically eliminating dead zones by connecting to Starlink satellites. T-Mobile Starlink also broadcasts Wireless Emergency Alerts (WEAs) to ensure that you’ll get critical messages about severe weather or natural disasters, no matter where you’re at.
