T-Mobile is partnering with DoorDash to offer customers in select cities same day shipping for home internet equipment, making it faster than ever to get connected with T-Mobile 5G Home Internet.
The company hopes that the ability to get equipment and set everything up quickly will take away one of the biggest frustrations around switching internet providers – waiting days for equipment, visiting stores, or scheduling an installation appointment.
Same day delivery is part of T-Mobile’s push to simplify switching across wireless and home internet. In November, the company rolled out a new “Switching Made Easy” experience inside its T-Life app. The update was designed to allow customers to switch wireless providers in just 15 minutes.
Same day internet equipment delivery is also part of the T-Life app. Customers who sign up through the T-Life app will be able to get their gateway delivered the same day by DoorDash, first in major cities, then expanding to more locations.
When the equipment arrives, T-Mobile says setup should only take 15 minutes “from box to browsing.” You can also try the service for 15 days risk-free, reducing the hesitation that often comes with switching.
Still on the fence? T-Mobile is sweetening the deal with two offers for new customers. First, you can save $20 on 5G Home Internet when bundling with a T-Mobile voice plan, with the monthly price for internet locked in for five years. Or, you can switch both your wireless and internet to T-Mobile and get up to $350 to spend at Samsung when you upgrade to a Galaxy S26 device as a new T-Mobile home internet customer.
