T-Mobile is Rolling Out a Cheaper Unlimited Plan

Today T-Mobile announced an even cheaper Unlimited Plan aimed at taking on a growing number of unlimited talk, text, and data plans. This new plan is called T-Mobile Essentials and will give you unlimited talks, text, and data in the United States for just $30 per line for a family of four with autoplay.

There is one catch though as the new plan only offers 3G hotspot support but for $30 the package is not a bad deal. If you want 4G hotspot support you need to get the $40 a month plan. There is one last catch as T-Mobile says “during times and places with heavy network demand, Essentials customers may notice slower speeds than other customers.”

“The other guys got one thing right – some customers just want the basics, but the Carriers did it all wrong,” said John Legere, CEO at T-Mobile. “They seem to be doing everything they can to turn rate plans into a hot, confusing mess. They’ve got Above Unlimited, Unlimited Plus, Beyond Unlimited, Unlimited and More…Unlimited and More Premium?! No wonder nearly half of Verizon and AT&T customers are still stuck on data bucket plans with overage penalties. The other guys make it sooo confusing! The Un-carrier wants to make it easy. Give customers the options they want … but keep it simple, stupid!”

Well, this plan may not be for everyone it does offer a great option for some T-Mobile subscribers who are looking for a very cheap option.
