T-Mobile is Ending 24/7 Live Support

T-Mobile, a company that built its reputation on great customer service, offered something very few companies do today 24/7 live support via chat. Sadly later this month, that 24/7 support will be coming to an end.

In a message posted on their mobile app, T-Mobile is informing their customers of the change.

Beginning April 23, 2023, our hours of operation for live support representatives in chat will change from 24/7 to 6 a.m. – 12 a.m. Central Time to better serve you during peak hours.

This change was first spotted in the app by T-Mobile customers who posted on Reddit to complain about the change. Cord Cutters News has since confirmed this change with T-Mobile chat agents.

T-Mobile phone support in the past had been 24/7, but since the pandemic, they have also cut back on hours. Now any reference to 24/7 human support has been removed from the contact page.

Well, this change may not make many happy it is still far better customer service hours than most wireless phone companies. Some, though, still offer 24/7 support, including AT&T, which offers 24/7 phone support.

Others, like Verizon, only offer phone support 8a – 7p Monday – Saturday and 8a – 5p Sunday. Verizon also offers 24/7 chat support.

T-Mobile offering 6 am to 12 am customer service is excellent compared to many companies.

Correction: We have updated this story to reflect the correct hours for Verizon support and 24/7 chat support.
