T-Mobile Home Internet Get an Updated App

Back in 2021, T-Mobile launched its Home Internet service with basic signal strengths and a bit lacking in gateways. Now, T-Mobile is revealing some new features on its Home Internet app, including three main gateway models in addition to some customizable options.

Previously, there was no way users could see which bands were connected to the network. According to sources, a new app called HINT Control allows users to “easily view every statistic available about their internet connection. This includes signal strength, connection bands and bandwidth, and more.” You can even turn on or off 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wifi radios as well as band steering. Users can even create and edits SSIDs with this app. 

The app is available in the Google Play store. It can also be used for Windows, Linux, Mac, and iOS through GitHub. T-Mobile’s Home Internet upgrade is available on Acradyan, Sagemcom, and Nokia gateway models.

T-Mobile’s 5G Home Internet comes with a 15-day trial period for new customers. Including an autopay discount for a Go5G Plus or Magenta MAX line, members can get high-speed internet for only $30 a month. T-Mobile is also offering a $50 Prepaid Mastercard for those who switch to its 5G Home Internet service.  Additionally, the company will even pay up to $750 in early termination fees to members canceling a current contract with another internet provider.

Other special offers included with signing up for T-Mobile’s 5G Home Internet include paying only $15 per month for Philo live TV, valued at $25 per month. New customers can also add on Ooma home phone service for $9.99 a month along with a free Ooma Telo Air device, valued at $129.99. 

Lastly, users can enjoy T-Mobile’s Tuesday Perks which change every week offering free stuff as well as exclusive perks on food, gas, entertainment, and other surprises. This week’s special perk is offering customers $5 off to see Spiderman: Across the Spider-Verse in theaters on June 2nd.
