SXSW 2020 Film Festival is Now Streaming on Amazon Prime

Starting this week, you can now stream the curated SXSW 2020 Film Festival lineup right from your own home. Amazon Prime Video has taken the festival digital, allowing you to experience this world-renowned event without leaving your couch.

“We watched over 8,000 films between July 2019 and January 2020 to curate the 2020 Official lineup of Feature Films, Episodic Projects, and Short Films for this year’s festival,” said Jarod Neece, Senior Film Programmer at SXSW. “While this is only a portion of the lineup, we feel it’s a great example of the types of films a SXSW attendee would experience in Austin each March.”

To make the experience even more authentic, you can stream Q&A’s with the cast and crews of some of the film projects and listen in on chats with filmmakers about current events in the industry.

This one-time event is available for free to all audiences around the country, with or without an Amazon Prime membership, all that is needed is a free Amazon account. You can view the curated lineup on your Fire TV or Fire Stick, and at amazon.com/sxsw April 27 to May 6.
