The Streaming Service Cheddar Makes The Jump to Comcast’s X1

Today Cheddar one of the best streaming options for news just struck a major deal to bring their content to Comcast’s X1 streaming platform. This move marks one more major streaming service to team up with Comcast along with Netflix, YouTube, Pandora, and more.

“It’s amazing and validating to turn on the TV and see Cheddar alongside Fox Business and CNBC on X1. Even better, you can just say ‘Cheddar’ into the remote to be taken right to our network!” said Jon Steinberg, CEO of Cheddar. “X1 is incredibly forward-thinking with a unified entertainment hub. You can watch Netflix, YouTube, listen to Pandora, and now watch Cheddar all adjacent to traditional TV networks.”

With this move by Comcast also recognizes the quality of content being produced for online services like Cheddar. Not only that but they also understand the demand of their subscribers to access content not just on cable networks but online at the same time. This also opens up Comcast subscribers to a new world of content they would have never seen with only cable TV.
