How to Stream The McGregor vs Mayweather Fight Without Cable TV

The biggest fight of the year has to be McGregor vs Mayweather fight that is scheduled to air on PPV August 26th.

Ever since the fight was announced I have been asked if cord cutters will be able to watch the event. Well until now the answer was we are not sure but now UFC the company who is organizing the fight has been telling those who contact them that it will.

Update: Sling TV now also is selling the McGregor vs Mayweather fight without the need for cable TV. Just log into the Sling TV website on and you can buy the match inside your account page.

They say you will be able to pay for the app through the UFC.TV app and stream it on a wide range of players including the Roku and the Fire TV.

It looks like only the fight itself will be on UFC.TV as pre fight show will be on Fox free over the air. You will also be able to watch the pre game show through services like DIRECTV NOW, PlayStation Vue, Hulu, Sling TV, and more if you live in an area that offers Fox on these services. Though this likely won’t be a cheap event as the cost of the event is $99.95 for HD or $89.95 for SD video on cable. Currently the UFC.TV site has not been updated to allow pre order but it should be available soon.
