The series will be hosted by Jamie Lee Curtis and feature other celebrity guests and YouTube personalities. The event is meant to bring people together to replicate the viewing experience created by movie screenings in audiences’ own homes while theaters are closed.
Here’s the lineup below. All showings are 6 pm ET:
- April 17 – The Hunger Games
- April 24 – Dirty Dancing
- May 1 – La La Land
- May 8 – John Wick (requires age registration)
Additionally, Lionsgate is making a donation to the Will Rogers Motion Picture Pioneers Foundation to help people in the movie industry who are affected by the coronavirus. The series is free, with viewers also encouraged to donate.
