Stream ‘Curb Your Enthusiasm’ on HBO Max for the Show’s 20th Anniversary

This week marks 20 years since Larry David’s comedy series Curb Your Enthusiasm premiered on screen on October 15, 2000. Now after 20 years, the series is still going strong with the show being picked up for an 11th season. You can celebrate the milestone anniversary by streaming all 10 seasons on HBO Max.

The comedy series continues to prove how seemingly trivial details of day-to-day life – a cold cup of coffee, a stained shirt, a missing toothbrush – can precipitate a chain of misfortune to hilarious effect. To keep the narrative spontaneous, the series is shot without a script, and cast members are given scene outlines and improvise as they go.

“I’m a lucky man. Not just to be able to do ‘Curb’ for twenty years, but also for my flawless complexion,” quipped Larry David.

HBO is also taking things one step further by providing fans with some ways to interact on social media. HBO has launched a special “Cue the Curb” Instagram face filter that slowly zooms into your face as the iconic Curb Your Enthusiasm trombone music starts playing. There are so many real-life instances this could apply to, and now you can add it to your own life via the Instagram filter.

And that’s not all – fans can join in on a Twitter stunt HBO is pulling on October 15 at 2 PM ET. Just tweet @HBO something you’re passionate about, and the account will reply asking you to curb your enthusiasm. Is it gimmicky? Sure. Are we going to join in? Absolutely.
