The story behind the music and creative genius of Bruce Springsteen is coming to Hulu on January 23 when Springsteen: Deliver Me from Nowhere comes to the streaming service.
Here’s how Disney describes the film: A must-see for fans of honest, personal storytelling, Springsteen: Deliver Me from Nowhere offers emotionally rich glimpses into the creative process behind his 1982 album “Nebraska” – exploring the pressures of ambition, success, and self-discovery. Centered on a young musician wrestling with moments when “the quiet gets a little loud,” the film provides an intimate look at Springsteen’s family history and the emotional resonance that would come to define his work.
The film chronicles the making of the album, recorded in Springsteen’s New Jersey bedroom, that marked a pivotal moment in his life and career.
Bruce Springsteen is played by Jeremy Allen White, who plays guitar and sings in the film. White recently earned a Golden Globes nomination for Best Performance by a Male Actor in a Motion Picture – Drama for the role.
Fans of Springsteen and the film can also watch Bruce Springsteen: Nebraska Live and the documentary Road Diary: Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band, now streaming on Hulu.
Springsteen: Deliver Me from Nowhere will be available on January 23 on Hulu and Hulu on Disney+ for bundle subscribers in the U.S. and on Disney+ internationally.
