Spectrum’s Live TV Streaming Service Rolls Out to New Markets

Back in June Spectrum announced a new streaming service that costs $19.95 a month with no long-term contract. It will include all of your local stations and even PBS. You will also find A&E, History, Hallmark, FX, TLC, WGN America, AMBC, HGTV, and more—over 25 live TV networks. For $12 more a month you can add sports and more news options including ESPN channels, NBC Sports, Bloomberg, and HLB.

You will also have access to 5,000 free on-demand titles and will be able to access many network apps with your Spectrum Stream login.

For $15 a month you can add HBO, SHOWTIME, The Movie Channel, Starz, and StarzEncore. Or if you just want one of these, you can get it for just $7.50 a month. (Locked in for 3 years.)

When the service first rolled out, it was limited to mostly Spectrum areas. Legacy Time Warner Cable customers found the service not available in their areas. Slowly the service has been rolling out to new markets, and now Spectrum has started to add Time Warner Cable markets.

Most Spectrum Internet subscribers will find they can now sign up to their live TV streaming service. There is one catch: you need Spectrum’s home Internet service to get the live TV streaming service. You will also find regional broadcast TV fees are added to Spectrum’s live TV streaming service.

Spectrum Stream is available on iOS, Android, Roku, Xbox One, and Samsung smart TVs.
