Spectrum Is Shutting Down Their Cloud Drive Service

Worried couple reading a letter sitting on a couch in the living room at homeThis week Spectrum started to contact customers to notify them that effective May 15, 2018, they will be shutting down their Cloud Drive.

The Spectrum Cloud Drive is a secure online service that lets you automatically back up and share important files such as photos, videos, and music. Files stored on the Cloud Drive can be accessed from any internet-connected device, using your Spectrum.net Head of Household email address.

If you have used the Spectrum Cloud Drive, you should have received the following letter in the mail:

Spectrum did confirm via tweet that they will no longer bill customers for the Cloud Drive starting March 15, 2018.

If you have used the Spectrum Cloud Drive, make sure to back up your data or you risk losing access to it in the future.
