Sling TV Will Move Paramount Network from Sling Blue to Add-On Bundle Next Month

Sling TV is notifying subscribers of an upcoming change to their channel lineup. At the end of August Paramount Network will be moved from the Sling Blue base package to the Comedy Extra add-on.

Here’s the message from Sling TV:

We want to let you know that on August 31st, Paramount Network will be moved to Comedy Extra for all customers. This means if you currently subscribe to Sling Blue, Paramount Network will no longer be in your base service. If you want to keep Paramount Network after August 31st, go to Change Subscription and add Comedy Extra for $5/month.

For Yellowstone fans, the change won’t affect the season finale of the series. Sling says:

Please note: the Yellowstone Season 3 finale will be airing August 23rd, so this change WILL NOT affect your ability to finish Season 3. If you missed any episodes, you will still have a week after the season ends to watch on demand.

Sling recently announced a 1-Year Price Guarantee for all new and existing customers. The guarantee will ensure that current prices on Sling TV services will stay the same through August 1, 2021 for new and existing customers who have accounts by August 1, 2020. This change isn’t a sign of an updated channel lineup that would cause a price increase.
