Sling TV Strikes a New Deal with beIN

Last week DISH and Sling TV announced a new long-term deal with beIN to carry beIN on Sling TV and DISH.

This comes as AT&T’s DIRECTV NOW streaming service blacked out beIN in August. Last year PlayStation Vue also dropped beIN from their lineup. This leaves Sling TV as one of the few streaming services still offering beIN.

In the United States beIN holds the rights to broadcast La Liga, Ligue 1, Copa del Rey (excluding the final), CONMEBOL World Cup Qualifiers and Football League Championship matches and Real Madrid TV, in addition to the major motorcycle road racing championships (MotoGP, World Superbike, MotoAmerica).

Currently beIN offers an English version and a Spanish version of beIN in the United States. With this deal it looks like beIN will be remaining on Sling TV for some time to come.

Exact terms of the deal have not been announced yet. It will likely be sometime before we know if this new deal will mean any changes for beIN on DISH and Sling TV.
