Sling TV Reports 2.5 Million Subs in Q3 After Pandemic Set Back

As a Live streaming service that relies heavily on sports, Sling TV is bouncing back after the pandemic took its toll on subscription numbers. The service added 117K subscribers in Q3 2021, up from the 65K subscribers from last quarter. That brings Sling’s total subscriber count to 2.556 million subscribers, the highest it’s been since 2019. In total, the service has added  82K subscribers so far this year.

Sling TVs numbers peaked in Q3 2019 when it reached 2.69 million according to Statista. Since then, the service has seen valleys and hills in its number landscape as depicted in the chart below, hitting a low since 2017 in Q2 2020.

Sling TV’s subscriber numbers also include Sling International and Sling Latino.
