Sling TV Now Offers Over 40,000 On-Demand Titles & Its 7-Day Look-Back Feature

Today Sling TV informed Cord Cutters News that it has continued to grow its on-demand services now offering over 40,000 titles across them. On top of the 40,000 on-demand titles Sling TV now also offers an 7-day look-back feature on most of its channels.

The look-back feature allows Sling TV subscribers to access shows aired on that channel in the previous 7 days enabling Sling TV subscribers to not worry about missing their favorite shows. Since June 2017 Sling TV has added over 2,000 movies and TV shows to its on-demand library.

Update: An earlier version of this story said 8-day look-back. According to Sling the look back of channels on Sling TV will vary by channel and 7-day is a better average.

Sling TV seems to be pushing back against a growing number of services trying to jump into the live TV streaming service. One of the ways it seems to be doing this is by offering more on-demand titles.

Recently Sling TV struck a deal with Tribeca Shortlist to add a few hundred movies to its on-demand service. Sling TV’s Tribeca Shortlist Channel currently features critically acclaimed films such as “The Graduate,” “Boy,” and “Pulp Fiction.”

Sling TV has also recently started to improve its apps, rolling out a traditional grid-style guide and adding DVR support to more devices.
