Sling TV is Moving The El Rey Network

Today Sling TV started to contact subscribers to let them know of a change in their channel lineup. It seems that on June 14th 2017 Sling TV will move El Rey from the Sling Orange package to the Sling Comedy Extra add-on.

El Rey Network is owned by Univision Communications’ and was their second cable network to be offered in English. El Rey is a joint venture between Univision and other parties – including Cox Communications and film director Robert Rodriguez.

The network distributes reality, scripted and animated series, movies, documentaries, news, music, comedy and sports programming. The El Rey Network has a collection of originals like From Dusk Till Daw and Lucha Underground and classics like Knight Rider and Paranormal State. El Rey Network is also known for a large collection of movies like Snake Eater and Levianthan.

Sling TV has not said what if anything will replace the El Rey Network in the Sling Orange plan. For now we will have to wait till June to find out what Sling TV has planned for their Orange plan.
