Cord Cutters News

Sling TV is Offering Free Live and Premium Programming in ‘Sling Fling’ Event

Sling TV is giving everyone a chance to try out its streaming service for free during its Sling Fling event. Starting tonight and running through Valentine’s Day, Sling will be offering access to its service with no credit card required, from 5 pm ET to midnight. If you’re still a cable customer, this is a great time to test out one of the more affordable streaming services to see if cutting the cord might work for you.

During the primetime hours from February 9-14, Sling wants to introduce new customers to its service with over 100 live and on-demand channels from both Sling Orange and Sling Blue. The event will also include free access to Showtime.

“Sling Fling will give cable customers an opportunity to experience Sling TV’s extensive line-up of live and on-demand content, so they can happily leave cable behind with confidence,” said Michael Schwimmer, group president, Sling TV. “Cable customers have suffered for too many years and they just want a better option — the channels they love at a much lower price. Our goal is to give everyone the chance to explore the benefits of live streaming with Sling TV, and join the millions of Sling TV subscribers who save money and enjoy their favorite sports, news and entertainment.”

For new customers who decide to subscribe, Sling TV is offering their first month of Sling Orange or Sling Blue for just $10. New customers can also receive a free AirTV Mini if they opt to prepay for their first month at $35.
