Sling TV Is Adding Support for Samsung TV’s & Android TV’s Integrated Guide

Do you own a newer Samsung smart TV? If you use an antenna to watch local channels you may have noticed that you suddenly have a new option for services to integrate into the Samsung OTA guide. Now Sling TV is listed as an option to be integrated alongside the channels from your antenna into the Samsung OTA guide. Sling TV has also shown up as a listed supported service for Android TV’s Channels integrated guide but it also gives an error when you try to us it.

For now, Samsung TVs give an error message when you try to add Sling TV. This is similar to how Sling TV recently also appeared as an option to be integrated into the Fire TV guide.

Recently Sling TV partnered with TiVo to add Sling TV channels to the grid guide on the new TiVo streaming player. This allows you to have Sling TV channels alongside channels from other services. Now it looks like Sling TV is doing the same with Amazon’s Fire TV and Samsung allowing the Fire TVs and Samsung TVs to have access to Sling TV inside their grid guide putting Sling TV right next to your OTA channels.
