Sling TV & AT&T Are Issuing Refunds for the Tiger Woods vs Phil Mickelson PPV Event

Did you pay for the Tiger Woods vs Phil Mickelson pay-per-view event? We have good news for you. You will be getting a full refund from both AT&T and Sling TV.

Why? Just before the pay-per-view event launched, B/R had problems processing orders for the event. AT&T, the parent company behind Turner and B/R Live, decided to make the event free since many customers on their B/R Live services had issues buying the event.

In response, Sling TV has decided to refund all customers who purchased the pay-per-view event that ended up being free over on B/R Live. According to reports from our readers, Sling TV’s pay-per-view service worked flawlessly so there was not an issue with Sling.

B/R Live launched in March 2018. It includes a collection of events from UEFA Championships and the UEFA Europa League. This was one of the services first major pay-per-view events and while the streaming quality was reportedly excellent the payment system failed.

The question now is will AT&T try a similar event again. Hopefully, this is not the end of AT&T’s plans for B/R Live pay-per-view events.
