Sling TV Adds Over 300 Free Shows & Movies Even if You Are Not a Subscriber

Today Sling TV announced a partnership with FilmRise to add over 300 movies and TV shows to its lineup. These shows will be free with ads and will be available through the Sling TV app on Roku even if you are not a subscriber.With this partnership you will find free TV shows like  3^rd Rock from the Sun and Kitchen Nightmares and movies like The Illusionist starring Edward Norton, Paul Giamatti and Jessica Biel, or Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans, featuring Nicholas Cage and Eva Mendes.

“Today, we’re offering Slingers even more fan favorite shows and movies than ever before – at absolutely no cost. The launch of FilmRise brings hit television shows and popular movies to the service so Sling Orange subscribers and Sling Blue subscribers now have access to hundreds of new titles. Even better, FilmRise content is now available in Sling TV’s free experience on Roku devices, so anyone can watch action-packed thrillers, comedies, romances, documentaries and more – even without a base subscription to Sling.” Sling TV said in a statement.

All Sling Blue and Orange subscribers will automatically see the FilmRise channel in their Sling TV guide. New or returning Sling users on Roku devices can access shows and movies on FilmRise at no cost by opening the Sling TV app and selecting “browse as guest.”
