Sling added BingeTV to its lineup, while its free Freestream service adds nine channels, including a load of Indian content.
Sling, the live TV streaming arm of Dish Network, has increasingly invested in free ad-supported content through its Freestream platform. It’s just one of a myriad of companies looking to capitalize in growing consumer interest in ad-supported content, particularly as the rising number and cost of subscription services is causing many to reconsider their budgets.
Freestream added its own equivalent of BingeTV, as well as HSN. Here’s the full lineup:
