Sinclair Raises Its Minimum Wage to $15 an Hour

Woman watching TVToday the Sinclair one of the largest owners of local TV stations in the United States announced that they are increasing their minimum wage to $15 an hour effective December 29th, 2019. This is one of the first TV networks to offer a minimum wage of at least $15 an hour. Sinclair says this is apart of their effort to be an ‘Employer of Choice.’

“At Sinclair, we recognize that we would be nothing without our hardworking and dedicated employees,” said Chris Ripley, Sinclair’s President and CEO. “This is why we continually work to improve our practices, policies and benefits. With this latest change, we hope to make a meaningful impact on the professional and personal lives of so many valuable members of our team.”
