SFN TV NOW Temporarily Ends Nationwide Service

get-the-best-tv-reception-with-your-antennaSFN TV Now made a big splash a few months ago when they announced their new Sling TV-like streaming service.

The big draw were packages starting at $10 a month including such channels as Fox News, MSNBC, and CNN. You could also get the sports package with ESPN, FS1, FS2, and CBS Sports for $20 a month.

However, that plan didn’t last long, and they quickly changed their service to a more traditional $34 a month for 60 channels and $48 a month for 80 channels, but SFN TV still kept several channels other services did not offer.

SFN TV is still available in parts of Georgia and plans to come back to the nationwide market at some point in the future after they “retool” their national offerings.

“Although we are limiting our national services in the short term, we are having to retool our national offerings and will return with different available channels and maybe add some. We are focusing on our current regional Georgia markets, fine tuning our approach, and will return nationally with improvements, staffing, technology, etc…” said Mike Figueroa-Marketing/Corporate Sales Management of SFN TV.

Hopefully SFN TV comes back and continues to offer an ever aggressive counterpoint to the current offerings of Sling TV and PlayStation Vue, but when they do come back the competition will be stronger than ever as we are expecting Hulu, Directv, Vidgo, and YouTube to all come out with new streaming services in the next year.
