Sega Genesis Classics Was Just Removed From The Amazon Fire TV App Store

Do you love classic video games? Well, we have bad news for you. Earlier today Amazon pulled the 25 Sega Genesis games on the Fire TV for just $14.99 bundle from their app store. This bundle celebrated the 30th anniversary of the Sega Genesis and was added to the Fire TV just a few weeks ago. Last week it quickly became a hit as media outlets around the United States started to promote the bundle only to have it removed earlier today.

Amazon and Sega have not commented on what caused the Sega Genesis Classics bundle to be removed from the Fire TV app store. Hopefully, the bundle will return to the Fire TV shortly. If it returns we will post an update letting you know. Cord Cutters News has also reached out to Amazon for comment on why this bundle was pulled from the Fire TV app store.
