Season 3 of ‘Stranger Things’ is Delayed Until 2019

Bad news for fans of the Netflix hit original show Stranger Thigns… According to Netflix programming exec Cindy Holland, the 3rd season won’t come out until the summer of 2019. According to Netflix, the delay is because they want to make the show “bigger and better” than in the second season. With more special effects and more locations.

Matt Duffer and Ross Duffer (Wayward Pines, Hidden) serve as writers, directors, and co-showrunners of the series and are executive producers along with Shawn Levy and Dan Cohen via their 21 Laps entertainment banner (The Spectacular Now, Night At The Museum, Real Steel, Date Night). Shawn Levy also serves as director.
