Roku’s New Remote Will Also Control Your TV

It looks like Roku is about to update several of their streaming players to include a new remote.

According to a report from ZatzNotFunny.com, a website with a history of accurately predicting what is coming, Roku will release a new remote soon. This new remote will include the ability to turn on and off your TV and adjust the volume.

ZatzNotFunny.com has also reported that a new 4K HDR Roku Streaming Stick+ will also join the lineup of Roku players this year. The new Roku streaming stick will go head to head with the yet to be officially announced 4K streaming stick coming from Amazon. It is also reported that the 2017 Roku Express will see a significant performance bump and still keep their price low.

Details are still thin but it looks like we are getting close to a refresh of the Roku lineup. When and at what price is something we will have to wait and see.
