Roku TV Was the Number 1 Smart TV OS in the U.S. in 2021

Roku announced today that for the second year in a row, Roku is the top operating system sold in the United States, according to NPD’s Weekly Retail Tracking Service data from January 3, 2021 through December 4, 2021.

Roku also announced a new partnership with Sharp today. The two companies will launch a line of HD and 4K Sharp Roku TV models in the U.S. in 2022.

Sharp Roku TV models will come with the Roku OS and will feature a customizable home screen, compatibility with voice commands and access to all of your favorite streaming services. More details on the Sharp Roku TV models will be announced in the coming months.
