Roku Maybe Discontinuing The Streambar Pro, Its Soundbar & Streaming Player

Is Roku’s Streambar Pro on its way out? Recent signs suggest that the popular soundbar may be facing discontinuation. The Streambar Pro has been removed from Roku’s official website, and local Best Buy stores are showing limited stock.

A search within a 100-mile radius revealed only two Best Buy locations carrying the Streambar Pro, each with a single unit remaining. Further, attempts to access the Streambar Pro page on Roku’s website now redirect users to the standard Roku Streambar page.

The Roku Streambar Pro, a premium soundbar equipped with a built-in Roku streaming player, has been praised for its audio quality and convenient integration.

Amazon still lists the Streambar Pro, but it is on sale, and delivery could be as late as September 6, 2024.

Update: Roku has confirmed the change and sent Cord Cutters News this statement. “Customers can enjoy streaming with Roku through a number of great devices depending on their needs, including the Roku Streambar SE. For an audio boost, streamers can purchase the Roku TV Wireless Speakers, Wireless Bass and more. Users who currently own a Roku Streambar Pro will continue to receive the latest software updates offering Roku’s best-in-class experience.”

If you’ve been considering the Roku Streambar Pro, you may want to act quickly. With dwindling stock and the product’s removal from Roku’s official website, it seems the Streambar Pro’s days may be numbered. The future is unknown and Roku could be about to come out with a new soundbar/streaming player or it maybe focusing more on its Roku TV brand of smart TVs.

Here is how Roku descries the Streambar Pro:
