Roku is Suffering an Outage Affecting Some Roku Channels

Do you have a Roku and can’t load your favorite streaming service? You are not alone Roku is currently suffering an outage that is preventing some Roku Channels from loading. Cord Cutters News is getting a growing number of reports about the outage. Downdetector is also reporting an outage with Roku.

Update: Roku says this issue has been fixed. Here is how you can fix your Roku if you are still having issues. “This issue is resolved with a software update.  Go to Settings>System>System update and then select Check now.”

Roku has posted this statement online:

We are aware of an issue affecting the ability to access some channels on your Roku device.  We are working to fix this as soon as possible.

You will not need to contact customer support or take further action at this time.  Just try again after a while, or check back here for more details.
