Roku Is Once Again Dropping the Price of Its Streaming Players

Roku has always pushed to be one of the best values when it comes to streaming players. Now it looks like Roku is pushing to be an even better value.

Over the last few weeks Roku has started to drop the price of many of its most popular streaming players. You will find that all Roku set-top boxes now cost less than $100.

You can buy them for the following prices:

Roku Express now $24.99 (down from $29.99).

Roku Ultra now $99.99 (down from $129.99).

Roku Premiere+ now $89.99 (down from $99.99; currently on sale for $79.99).

Roku Premiere now $59.99 (down from $79.99).

2016 Roku Stick now $39.99 (down from $49.99).

Why exactly Roku is dropping its prices is hard to say. There are reports that Roku will be releasing a new Roku Stick—the oldest player in its lineup—soon; however, there are no reports of new boxes at this time.

The price drops could be in response to new streaming players from Amazon and Apple coming out in the next month or so. Whatever the reason the good news is that you can now get a Roku player starting at just $24.99.
