A new OTA channel, Rewind TV, debuted this week in nearly 50 markets around the U.S. The Nexstar Media-owned network features classic TV shows from the 80s and 90s.
Nexstar announced the new channel in April, along with sharing that the Antenna TV OTA channel would be focusing on shows from the 60s and 70s.
“This year marks Antenna TV’s 10-year anniversary, and it continues growing and finding new audiences,” said Sean Compton, president of Nexstar’s networks division in the announcement. “To complement Antenna TV’s strong following with Baby Boomers, we created Rewind TV to give Gen X viewers a network dedicated to their own nostalgic comedy classics.”
On Rewind TV, viewers will find a lineup of sitcoms from the 80s and 90s, including Designing Women, Growing Pains, Who’s the Boss?, and News Radio. You can find the full schedule on the Rewind TV website.
