Reminder: PlayStation Vue’s Core Sale Pricing is Coming to An End

playstation 4 and controllerDid you get PlayStation Vue’s Core Sale back in late April or early May? Sony was offering PlayStation Vue’s Core Package is on sale for just $39.99 a month for the first two months at that time. (Typically this package costs $49.99 a month.) Now that deal is coming to an end and if you don’t want to pay $49.99 for that package you need to cancel or switch to a different PlayStation Vue package before that price comes to an end.

Plans and Pricing

When you sign up for a PlayStation Vue subscription, you’ll have 4 plans to choose from.

Each level has something different to offer. The Access plan is the most basic and offers popular channels like ESPN and Disney. The Core plan adds sports channels including ESPN News and the MLB Network. The Elite plan adds movies from channels like Epix and FXX. Finally, the Ultra plan adds premium channels including Showtime and HBO.

You can watch PlayStation Vue content on the following devices:

Along with the channels offered in each package, there are several add-on channels and bundles for an additional monthly fee.

There are also several premium channels that can be subscribed to as standalone channels or added to any of the PlayStation Vue plans.

Simultaneous Viewing

PlayStation Vue will let you watch 5 streams simultaneously. However, you can only watch on 3 away from your home area, including smartphones and tablets.

Cloud DVR

A PlayStation Vue subscription comes with “unlimited” Cloud DVR storage that will allow you to record up to 500 programs. Your content will be saved for 28 days. After recording, you can watch at home or on the go. You can fast forward through recorded content on all channels except Fox, FX, and FXX.
