A flurry of rumored retail listing leaks point to a price range of around $50 to $60 for Google’s oft-rumored Android TV dongle, aka “Sabrina.” 9to5Google caught wind of a possible Home Depot listing that points to a $49.99 price. Since then, other sites have chimed in with details from more retailers, narrowing the price range and hinting at a potential release date of Sept. 30th.

To recap, the so-called “Sabrina” device is rumored to be a Chromecast-like HDMI dongle that packs the Android TV operating system. We’ve reported on several rumors and details over the past few months, including FCC listings and possible product renders. Meanwhile, Google’s current Chromecast Ultra dropped in price from $35 down to $29.99, possibly to make room for a higher-end streaming device in Google’s HDMI dongle lineup.

Beyond the Home Depot listing, Droid Life also cited a possible Walmart listing that mentions a $59.98 price and Android Police’s Artem Russakovskii tweeted about a Target listing of $59.99 with a Sept. 30th release date.

The listings mention a combo including “Sabrina” and “Abbey,” suggesting the streamer itself is codenamed Sabrina, while the remote control goes by Abbey.

If the rumored release date holds true, we won’t have too much longer to wait until Google’s new streaming device officially breaks cover. And it’ll be interesting to see how existing Android TV HDMI dongles, like TiVo’s Stream 4K, when Google’s new device arrives.
