Pluto TV Removes Dash Radio Channels

Pluto TV has removed the lineup of Dash Radio channels from its free streaming platform. Cord Cutters News readers began reporting that the channels were missing earlier this week.

Dash Radio is a digital radio platform with over 80 music stations, all commercial free. Pluto TV added a lineup of the stations to its streaming platform years ago, giving users the same experience they would get with music channels on cable TV.

A spokesperson for Pluto TV told The Desk that there was a technical glitch with the channels, causing an outage. Pluto then opted to remove the channels. The spokesperson also shared that the service is working on a new strategy for offering music through Pluto TV and we can expect to see more on the music side from Pluto TV later this year.

We’ve reached out to Pluto TV for details and to find out if the Dash Radio channels could be added back to the lineup at some point. We’ll be back with an update if we get more information.

You can still get the free Dash Radio app on Roku and Fire TV as well as through the App Store and Google Play Store.
