Pluto TV Reconfirms Its Dedication to Staying 100% Free

Recently a website showed up on Pluto TV’s website offering an option to sign up for $5 a month premium Pluto TV service.

After Cord Cutters News posted about that website, Pluto TV reached out to deny it has any plans for a $5 a month service. “Pluto TV was in the process of doing some advertising tests. The site you saw was a landing page to help determine ad effectiveness. We are committed to our current free, ad-based model and have nothing else to announce at this time,” said a Pluto TV spokesperson.

So it seems that Pluto TV is and will be 100% free with no plans to change that in the future.

Pluto TV offers free OTT television service in America, with more than 75 channels in partnership with major TV networks, movie studios, publishers, and digital media companies. Millions of viewers tune in each month to watch premium news, TV shows, movies, sports, live events, cartoons, and trending digital series. Download the Pluto TV app free on mobile, web, and living room devices including Roku, Apple TV, Android TV, PlayStation, and Xbox.
