Today Pluto TV the Viacom-owned streaming service announced that they have launched on the Fire TV in the UK, Germany, and Austria. This comes a few weeks after Viacom announced plans to expand Pluto TV into new markets around the world.

“The launch of Pluto TV on Amazon streaming and mobile devices in Europe takes us one step closer to fulfilling our mission to entertain the planet,” said Olivier Jollet, managing director Europe for Pluto TV, in a statement.

Our line-up of diverse, thematic channels and premium programming are a perfect match with Amazon’s vast and engaged customer base, especially now that in Germany and Austria we added Viacom content to our pipeline” Jollet added. “Amazon’s advanced streaming technology and user-friendly interface makes it easy for audiences to discover Pluto TV and experience the ultimate TV-like lean back viewing experience on a leading OTT device. For brands, the benefit of advertising on Pluto TV is that it’s a high-quality, brand-safe environment.”

Pluto TV has already been live on Roku in the UK for some time now but now you can watch it on the Fire TV and in additional markets like Germany and Austria. Not all content on Pluto TV will stream in Europe because of contract issues but Pluto TV currently offers 50 channels in the UK.
